Even the very title reflects its origins - the game's protagonist is named Bernd, where Bernd is a Krautchan equivalent of Anonymous. it was conceived on a German imageboard Krautchan. The origins of the game are not that different from those of another well known occidental VN - "Katawa Shoujo", i.e. and it's one of the best Western VNs I have ever played. "Unteralterbach" is a political and social satire, it's also the game where you fuck children. Hell, that's something I haven't played before. That's something I haven't reviewed before. this is something unusual - an Original German Language Visual Novel, or OGLVN for short.
